I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and such. Mine was nothing to special. The entire family headed to Jakes Supper Club for their Thanksgiving Day brunch. It's just easier this way with all the cooking and the cleanup. However, there were a few amusing past thanksgiving memories.
One thanksgiving, we were looking for coolwhip for our pumpkin pie. We looked in the fridge and found a can of rediwhip. After we had at the pie, my grandma asked "Where did you find that? I didn't buy any of that." We later looked at the date, and the can had expire over a year ago! Luckily, none of us got sick.
There was also a thanksgiving that Grandma made about 2 turkeys too many (3 Total). Needless to say, they put one of the turkeys out on the deck since it was already quite cold. Well, they found that turkey on the deck the next easter. Not exactly what you expect to get from the easter bunny.
Drawtite will be getting an email/call from a confused customer. We tried to put on my trailer hitch, but thing's just don't seem to match up. We concluded that the trailer hitch may be welded together wrong. What are the odds of that?
Last night after consulting the weather, my brother and I left Menomonie for Whitewater around 11pm. That put us in whitewater aroudn 2:30am. It was a long haul, but considering how the weather was this morning up there, a good idea. Just after Madison, there was some of the most awesome looking lightning strikes I have ever seen. And in November? Whats up with that?
This morning I then headed to Milwaukee to take my brother back to WLC, and then swung by Ashley's condo. Its quite spiffy. Tonight we headed to Houlihan's in Lake Geneva for dinner with Chris Nolan and company. We learned that Snieg is number 5.5. All together, it was a good thanksgiving and weekend.
